Some games will only show PS4 prompts when plugged in but not when connected by Bluetooth, and disabling PS4 controller support in Steam itself causes it to only use Direct Input, so some games will recognize it and others that only use XInput won't work. Anyhow, some games simply don't offer prompts for both controllers on PC, while others have options in-game to reflect controller prompts accordingly. As far as the wrong prompts, it's more to do with the lack of support on Windows vs Steam. I don't think there's a single game on Steam where I've not been able to use a DS4 or XBOX controller as long as I use DS4Windows, ReWSAD, or a similar program, nor have they caused any issues with anticheats if you're concerned about using 3rd party software. Even though it's not fully supported on Win10, I use a DS4 with no problem, and for 99% of games that "don't support" PS4 controllers, you can just use DS4Windows. When you finally get to the home planet, you have to go to control options and press square/X to get to the graphics options. Core gameplay is capped at 30 FPS several animations play at an unlocked framerate. Controller is way, way better I am sure, but I beat the game with a keyboard because that's all I have. It's pure keyboard controls, no mouse at all. Cutscene audio can be replaced with the English version through modding. Part of the appeal of Katamari is honestly the way it is played. But it still gives me DS4 button prompts. The voiceovers from the western PlayStation 2 release have been replaced with the original Japanese audio. The problem is you can't have Steam set to support PS4 controllers, ONLY Xbox. To move forward, you hold both sticks forward, or press both keys together, etc. You move my using both sticks at the same time. ![]() Continued abuse of our services will cause your IP address to be blocked indefinitely.Originally posted by BrySkye:Took me a few minutes to figure out what the UI was trying to get across. Introduction I have loved Katamari since PS2 days, yet some controls were so messy to pull off consistently that I had stopped bothering with them - namely Dash, and to a lesser extent, Quick Turn.
